Designed for monitoring Beacon or buoy sites anywhere in the world with compact retro fitting package which will directly integration into the PELANET monitoring system.

  • Remote Site can be supplied for retro fitting:
    Options available:
    • COMMUNICATOR flasher programmed to drive Bi-form lamp up to 100 watts.
    • COMMUNICATOR flasher programmed to drive PA6 lampchanger up to 100watts.
    • COMMUNICATOR flasher programmed to drive LED array inside PL125
  • Remote site can either be mounted on a buoy or shore beacon.
  • PELANET master station can be added at a later date without altering the remote sites when budget is available thus upgrades can be added on an as required basis in the future.
  • LED status indicators on power management board permit easy site observation of equipment status.

  • Low power consumption allows connection to existing power sources without the need to upgrade if interrogation kept to daily contact.
  • Selectable rates of contact to base station on board for site commissioning. Thereafter selectable at continuous, 1, 2, 3 ,4 ,6,8,12 or 24 hour per transmission.
  • Includes GPS buoy position monitor as standard with 0.5nm "Drift Alarm".
  • Information from the various remote sites are down loaded by Email in one session by the master station using a local internet call.
  • Utilises INMARSAT D + satellite to provide low cost communications.

Features

  • Each site is provided with a actual site picture for recognition by system operators.
  • Yellow information panel lists the site's equipment and characteristics.
  • Blue panel lists monitored parameters up dated each time the site is interrogated.
  • Pull down menu lists history of last 100 interrogations to enable review of the site's development at a glance.
  • A colour status box changes colour and text to indicate at a glance if site is operating correctly. Alarm trip levels can be acknowledged by operator if exceeded.
  • Site data provided to customers master station via Email by local call to Pelangi web site removing need for expensive international call to terrestrial base station. Systems already in operation for over 1½ years.

Control Outputs

  • Up to 2 are set and labelled with their specific functions for ease of port control.

Monitor points

  • Up to 2 are provided and labelled within the Yellow box of station status. Additional analogue voltage can be used to monitor a external Voltage such as Wind speed , Wave or tide height or any other specialised equipment providing a 0-25 v output.
  • Automatic Global Position Monitoring included in package at no extra charge. "Position Status" compares real to actual position and provides coloured alarm button if OFF station.
