High focal
plane Resilient Beacon with sectioned rotationally moulded float
for easy assembly and installation on site.
- The RB2100 provides a very accurate way of marking a particular
point in a channel, canal or harbour entrance, especially
when compared to the traditional buoy, chain and sinker mooring
system.
- RB2100 Beacon provides the advantage of having a considerably
higher focal plane than a buoy using the same float diameter.
- Underwater float ensures good vertical stability enabling
narrow divergence lanterns usually used for shore stations to
be employed with savings in power.
- All steelwork is shotblasted, galvanised and painted.
- Since RB2100 does not employ mooring chain, it
removes the need for regular chain replacement. The stability
on the platform allows easy installation and maintenance of extra
instrumentation.
- Overall length of the RB2100 is dependent on depth of water
and customer specification and can vary from 15 metres up
to a maximum of 40 metres.
- All Pelangi International Ltd lanterns and solar systems are
compatible with our RB2100, along with a complete range
of topmarks.
