Extremely
lightweight high focal plane buoy weighing only 2163 kgs in service
for those Port Authorities with low lifting capabilities.
- Standard focal high of 5 metres to provide excellent platform
for long range lanterns.
- Rotationally moulded floats constructed from 10-11mm thick
virgin polymers with additional thickness of up to 14mm in
high load areas and are foam filled to create robust floatation,
which will resist mechanical abuse without damage.
- “SOFT” float does not
require fender.
- Float and day marks produced in L.L.D.P.E. with UV stable
polymers to EU standards of 12 years to reduce maintenance
costs of repainting.
- Pillar structure is self coloured to match float and can be
supplied in red, green yellow, yellow and black combinations
with CAN, CONE or pillar shapes to I.A.L.A. standards for maximum
flexibility.
- 4 mooring and 2 lifting eyes increase ease of buoy handling
and offer maximum period between major overhaul as
the twin bridle can be moved to opposite pair when the first
set become worn.
- Removable Aluminium ladder to increase difficulty of unauthorised
tampering with solar panels, battery and lantern assemblies.
- Modular lightweight plug in sections, which can be replaced
quickly on board tender vessel, or in flat sea
conditions along side in the event of collision damage.
- Handrails supplied as standard.
