Solid day
mark G.R.P. buoy designed by Pelangi engineers for solar powered
duties.
- Standard hull can be fitted with can
or cone day marks each equipped with 2 solar panel mounting
sections.
- Day mark provided with hatch access to internally housed batteries
for protection against theft and the elements.
- Broad anti-slip surfaces and large toe rails for secure buoy
jumping and on location maintenance.
- Recessed mooring eye for stable quay and deck handling.
- Good shallow water buoy which will tolerate grounding at low
water.
- Will accommodate up to 2 x 50 watt solar panels as standard.
- Fender fitted as standard.
- No solar support frames or additional battery enclosures
necessary.
- Lifting eyes interconnected to mooring eye to facilitate
easy and trouble-free lifting onboard.
- Pelangi PB1650 can be towed onto location at speeds of up
to 4 knots with its own bridle by small craft. It is therefore
possible to float buoy with shoreside crane and position
with light craft with only winch capabilities.
Additional options
