Disposable 18 volt battery ideal for powering aids on a temporary basis or where vandalism or bird droppings prevent the use of solar power.

Designed as a complete battery without the need to inter-connect existing cells into a pack to improve reliability.

• Dry le clanché type battery does not require the addition of water or ventilation.
• Specifically designed for use in sealed buoy battery compartments with no air flow such as ice buoys which become totally submerged below the ice cap in winter months.
• Different sized terminals prevents reverse polarity connections (M9 positive, M6 negative).
• The PA288 or PA540 can be interconnected to increase capacity.
• Robust plastic waterproof container.
• Sturdy fold-away handle for lifting in and out of buoy compartments. Especially suited to deep tail tube applications.
• Shelf life of 1 year at full capacity and then only 10% reduction per annum thereafter.
• 18 volt battery for use with flashers that have lamp regulation fitted to enable maximum power to be utilised from the battery.
• 2 and 3 year unattended periods can be achieved on light duties between battery changes.
• Waterproof replaceable 5 amp fuse.
