The PA6 lampchanger is supplied by Pelangi for use in most marine lanterns and is also approved for use in Div II factory approved lanterns.

• Covered by U.S. patent no. 3.308.338
• Locates the filament focal centre both horizontally and vertically within 0.8mm providing the brightest possible light.
• May be mounted in any position and not be adversely affected by the normal shock and vibrations encountered in buoy service.
• The enclosure is fabricated using sea-water resistant cast alloy AL239 and coated in red epoxy making it corrosion resistant.
• Gold plated contacts and stainless steel hardware to resist salt laden environments.
• No shadowing 52° down from horizontal to maximise emitted light.
• Lightweight at only 860 grams.
• Injection moulded high strength plastic turret designed to be lightweight but durable.
• Compatible with ProFlash and most flashers capable of controlling solenoid operated lampchangers.
• Lamp turret supports either six S-8, S-11 or halogen lamps complete with pre-focus P15s/19 collars.
• Meets or exceeds the requirements of U.S. Coastguard specifications numbers 195 (PA6A) and 472 (PA6B) including vibration test at 5G’s and shock test at 20G’s.
