Single
stage high frequency lamp driver.
- Operates at 8KHz to generate a brilliance at a wattage lower
than the stated power of the lamp or an increased brilliance
for the nominal rating of the lamp.
- 12 or 24 volt D.C. power inputs to lamps by single stage inverters
at better efficiencies than normal double stage units. Typical
electrical efficiencies:
35 Watts @ 12 D.C.>85%
or 24D.C.>90%
70 Watts @ 12D.C.>82%
or 24D.C.>90%
100Watts @ 12D.C.>75%
or 24D.C.>87%
150 Watts @12 D.C.>70%
or 24D.C.>83%
- Adjustable power output to the lamp
in increments up or down of 5%. (20% down or 10% up) to take
advantage of electrical & optical
efficiencies depending on power source available.
- Single unit size through out power range.
Reverse Polarity Protection.
- Large operational voltage range permits lamp to remain lit
in low battery conditions.
- Nominal 12 volts :10 –16 volts.
Nominal 24 volts : 18 – 35 volts.
- High frequency starting voltage permits longer cable runs
than required for conventional ballast starters.
- Frequency modulation is used to regulate power to the lamp
changing the drive frequency as the lamp requires it. This in
turn reduces warm up times and compensates for lamp ageing.
- LED indicator for both low input voltage & if
lamp current falls outside set levels.
- Optically isolated terminal for remote switching on/off lamp.
