The PRL600
revolving lighthouse pedestal was designed by Pelangi for the Northern
Lighthouse Board and Commissioners of Irish Lights to carry traditional
cut and polished prismatic lighthouse lens optics of up to one
tonne total weight.
- Supplied in various versions to suit customer applications:
• Single or dual gearless drive
• Stainless steel or mild steel bright nickel plated
• Integral speed monitor board mounted in pedestal or remote
mounting in customer’s control panel.
• Pedestal legs manufactured to suit murette height or site
conditions (min leg height 250mm).
- 4 drive coils per drive assembly with LED indicators for
service checks.
- Sturdy coil support castings can be swung out from underneath
lens support ring for unit self test checks and maintenance
without the need to remove the lens.
- Electrically isolated optional speed monitor board gives
visual Over, Under, and Runaway Speed LED indications plus
revolution counter for independent telemetry monitoring or
local viewing.
- Totally self contained controls mounted within pedestal
removing need for separate control panel unless requested by
customer, and therefore no interconnecting cable required.
- Specifically designed for PA2 lampchanger with MBI lamp.
