The SC155
has been designed by Sabik to fulfil the need to “bolt-on,
forget, and monitor in comfort”, with 2 versions:
1) Standard Mounting, from underneath the SC155
with tamperproof fixings accommodating up to 10mm plate thickness
(fixings can be concealed by customer).
2) Pedestal Mounting, optional short stainless pedestal
for easier access and conversion to existing centres on station.
- Robust low profile lantern, optimised for low temperatures,
and designed to sustain ICE PACK abrasion.
- Lantern can achieve 3-5 miles @ T=0.74 depending on character,
latitude, and options.
- Solar panels are mounted in Tamperproof Polyethylene reducing
the possibility of theft and increasing their protection.
- Large 32 AH Valve-regulated Lead Acid battery as standard,
or optional 34 Ah NiMh battery with 10-15 year life, offers long
deployment periods with no maintenance.
- Total weight of just 21Kgs, and built-in handles makes SC155
ideal for easy installation or deployment on lightweight columns
or small buoys.
- No extra interconnecting wiring, exposed cabling and connections
which can cause failure. A complete solution in one package for
minor aids.
- LEMO socket allows the lantern to be activated, programmed
and flasher/battery parameters to be monitored directly, without
the need for internal access.
- Options for GSM remote monitoring (see below).
- Optional concealed GPS provides position
monitoring. An alarm message is generated if the buoy moves
outside it’s programmed
position radius, or if the SC155 is stolen.
SC155 Monitoring Options
- SC155 supplied with ‘Minilink’ programmed
with Customers free issued SIM to text nominated mobile with
alarms or respond to individual status requests. ( Default
included in price.
- Unit is Monitored on Pelangi Webscada site for an additional
fee on a daily basis and customer advised if site action
is required as necessary.
- Full Webscada programme loaded on single clients computer
and unit is monitored and interrogated directly.
- Advanced Webscada programme loaded on networked computer
system with multi-user access for different levels of engineering
and maintenance staff.
